Shilo and the Not-So-Scary Girl Above His Bed: A Book About Overcoming Fear with Faith (Shilo and the Not-So Stories)

In this first book of Shilo and the Not-So Stories, Kristin and Montell Jordan turn childhood worries upside down.

Shilo is a little monster with BIG fears! The girl who sleeps above him jumps, thumps, and snores so much that Shilo worries his ceiling might crash in. Worst of all, she has smelly feet! But with help from his mom, Shilo realizes that God is even bigger than his fears. Maybe that scary girl could become a friend!

This delightful rhyming picture book from creative powerhouse couple Kristin and Montell Jordan helps parents guide children ages 3–7 to fight their fears with faith. As Shilo discovers, God didn’t make us to be afraid. He made us strong, loving, and brave. With God on our side, fear and smelly feet don’t stand a chance.
